Bernard Bryant

Finance & Administration Director

Bernard Bryant, CPA, has been Director of Finance since 2018. Prior to joining United Way of Greater Kingsport, he was the CFO for Taylor Brands, LLC, a wholesale distributor of cutlery, during a period of 50% sales growth and where he was key in completing due diligence for the sale of all company assets.  His extensive background includes administration of payroll and employee benefits including health insurance and retirement plans, and has held various positions in the banking industry.  Bernard enjoys early morning workouts at the gym and is part of a team holding a weekly church service at an assisted living facility. He and his wife Kathy have twin daughters, two sons-in-law, and two grandchildren.
