Contact 211 is comprised of dedicated staff and volunteers who selflessly give of their time and resources, in order to provide a much-needed ministry in our region. Contact 211 of Northeast Tennessee, Inc. provides three crucial services to the community: Information & Referrals, Helpline, and Reassurance Calls. The services are free, confidential, and available to everyone.

Help Line
Comforting those struggling with loneliness, depression, and major life changes by listening, encouraging and crisis intervention.
Information & Referral
Connecting people with the services they need by offering information and referrals to local organizations that provide basic needs such as food, clothing and shelter. Contact 211 maintains an up-to-date database of organizations within the eight-county service area that offer various services and resources to the community.
Reassurance Call Program
Reassuring by providing scheduled, daily calls to the elderly, homebound and anyone with limited contact with the outside world. If you would like to sign up or know of someone that may benefit from the Reassurance Call Program, please call us at 2-1-1.
MyRide
MyRide Kingsport is a new program that provides through the door transportation for residents 60 or more years of age anywhere in Kingsport, TN. There is a minimal fee per ride and all MyRide drivers are volunteers. For more information about the program and/or to volunteer, call Lisa Christian at 423-530-6340.
Contact 211 of Northeast Tennessee, Inc. is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The board consists of 10 to 14 individuals in the communities we serve.
